Cousin Sleep Over :-)

Kobe-Monster spent the night all by himself for the first time a while ago! He is so so so much easier then miss Maddi-Moo! She always wants to bake, do nails and stay up really late and wake up really early! We love doing all that but it was a pleasant surprise when all Kobe wanted to do was play games on the IPad, watch Phineas and Ferb and eat food :-) Plus I had fun doing the type writer on him and making him laugh til he about peed!

And my brother and sister and I decided we would take funny pictures while he played games :-)

School vs. School

I love love love Westminster. I love everything about it. The people, the professors, the atmosphere, the buildings, the classes... just everything! I had such a wonderful time there and was dreaming about going there my entire Senior year of High School. I want to go back. But I can't. I see both good and bad to not going back to school.

What I am going to miss: friends, going to church, the encouraging professors, over night hosting, living on my own, being in a new environment, focusing on school only, the nursing program, SI sessions, late night studying, study groups, laughing so hard in study groups, Yolanda, Trent, the creek, the park, the general area, Shawmlettes... I'm going to miss having professors and faculty actually caring about the student and checking in on them. I'm going to miss the small number of students, the small classes, the little extra things that made college such a joy like the Dean delivering food on finals week, midnight breakfast served by the faculty, Wild Wednesdays, the concerts and plays, the free museum at the U, school events like atomic bowling, ice skating, glow in the dark capture the flag. I'm even going to miss the power outages, the snow, the rain, the stupid slippery bridge, the dances, the creepy people watching you cross the bridge. I'm going to miss going to Walker Hall and getting packages, or the bell tower ring every hour. I'm going to miss soo much about Westminster. I hope to one day visit especially since I didn't get to say goodbye to a lot of my friends or anyone from church.

Good things in me not returning: I'm closer to family (good and bad). I don't have to travel home for holidays, I can work, and I could use a break from Utah after all that happened. But I'm not going to be as focused on school here as I was there.

The bridge...On a snowy morning

Now I will be going to CBC, getting my ADN then going to either WSUTC for my Bachelors/Masters or EWU. Either way I hopefully will have my degree soon!

My favorite little kiddos!!!!

It's been an entire year since I have seen these cutie pies...and one more was added to the bunch!!! Now one is a big bad kindergartner and the other has just gotten taller, potty trained and more adorable! The new addition has been fun as well and I cannot wait to chase him around the park and sing crazy songs with him too!! I was afraid that they wouldn't recognize me at first but I was greeted with Alex saying "Whoa! What are you doing here?!?!" and Ella saying "Kay-ka-lyn!!!" I've missed these two so so so much!!! And everything seemed just like it was last summer! Alex and I had a Star Wars dual, Ella and I took silly pictures, we went to the park and played and ran around and this time Ella knew every word of Grace without any help!!! She even said Grace for every single piece of pizza she had, every cup of juice she drank and everything else that girl ate :-)

Gotta get some lovin in on baby Patrick!

Me and my favorite boys making faces!

That's one big bad kindergartner!!!

He won for the Star Wars dual! I was slightly handicapped though...He had a double light saber and I had a single plus I had a baby and he was able to glue his body parts back on but I couldn't :-)

She needed no help this time climbing the toys at the park!

Such a big helper! She set the table for me and helped put the pizza in the *cold* oven!

Just like old times!!!

Missed this face!!!

My Ella!!!

Visitng the coast!!!

We went to the coast this summer and it was F...U...N...!!! We only thought we would go up to our ankles in the water so we decided we would just wear shorts and tank tops...BIG MISTAKE! Patrick decided to go out pretty far to jump the bigger waves and ride them in. So the girls and I followed him...in our jean shorts :-) It was so much fun! Gracie (the one who is on swim team) help my hand like a little chicken and even jumped on my back when a big wave rolled over us. Ummm I should have been the one on her since A) she is taller than me and I would have stayed a little less wet and B) she always makes me save her so it was time she saved me! I think we were out there for a good hour and then went back in (after we warmed up a little) for another good 30 minutes! The salt stunk my eyes, made Emma's face hurt and stick skinny Gracie was frozen! Then we all changed in the car and that was a challenge! Pulling wet denim off your leg is not an easy task alone, but when changing in a car with cramped spaces it makes it nearly impossible! It was a short trip but it was so fun! I think I may change my career from Nurse to a professional Beach Bum! Oh, and while we were out in the ocean we saw a couple of pelicans like in Finding Nemo! I about lost it I was so excited to see them!!!

Diggin like a dog :-)

We volunteered her to be buried and she didn't object!

wet and very cold!
