Better late than never!!!

School this quarter has been super crazy. With a stats project that is about 70 pages long and was like a third job, and tutoring/studying for Chemistry and church activities I haven't had time to update the blog. But alas, I am able to...even though it is the middle of finals week!!

For Christmas this year my Uncle Gene and his family came to town and we got to spend the very first holiday with my nephew. I absolutely loved hanging out with him for the week. The whole time we had a slumber party in my room and the last day I "hogged" him. We had a froyo date and a movie date as well as hot cocoa :) He and I made forts with our fleece blankets and he helped me make a blanket as well. I love this kid and miss him so much!

Most of the girls on mom's side. Just missing Ainsleigh and Tori!

Matching scarves :)

Just about the only picture of my mom...and it;s only because she walked in the middle

This is how we treat babies lol

Cousins meeting for the first time!

My karate girls!

Best part about being an auntie is that I get to play like a little kid with this one. I love him!

Crafty Bug!!!

I'm obsessed with pinterest and have gotten a lot of neat ideas off of it for crafts!!! Lately I have been into making rag quilts, fleece tie blankets and the melted crayon art. I want to do the pictures to canvas and pictures to wood next! Here are a few of my projects!

And just because...

We started a war with the neighbor...except my siblings and I framed another neighbor girl...Her car was cotton balled haha

Growing up!

I've had the pleasure of nannying/babysitting a family of kids who I have come to love and care greatly for. What started off as caring of two children one summer ended up being three the next :) I love these kids and it's just fun to look back at all of the pictures we have taken and see how much they have grown!!!!

One summer we were potty training and I was their kaykalyn, the next summer Ella was a helper and set the dinner table and Alex had started Kindergarten and adored his new baby brother. Now miss Ella has a little attitude that just makes me smile, she can say Kaitlyn now but I am still and forever will be her Kaykalyn, Alex has gotten so tall and loving! I walked into the house after months and months of not seeing them and it melted my heart when he jumped down from the table, ran up to me and said "Kaitlyn! I missed you!" and then he had to run and find Ella and tell her I was there! I met Patrick when he was only weeks old and I could hold him with one arm...Now I need two arms and a hip to hold him!
